1970 Plymouth AAR 'Cuda

 Hello, my name is Garth Simmons. I am 30 years old and work as an engineer with Saskatchewan Energy and Mines in Regina. My wife, Dancia, works for the Farm Credit Corporation.

We currently own several Mopars, but my favorite in the In-Violet (Plum-Crazy) AAR 'Cuda which I have owned longer than any other car (since 1976). It is an original 4-speed car with a white interior, and I finished a 5-year restoration just in time to show it at Southey.

The weather was less than perfect, but winning the People's Choice trophy more than made up for it (thanks for another great one Merv, they get better each year). As far as I know, the car came out of Prince Albert where it was owned by Ron Thompson in 1975. If anyone knows anything about the early history of this car I would be interested in hearing from you. The serial number is BS23J0B_.

We also have a 1971 Barracuda (which if I ever finish, will be my wife's toy), as well as a 1970 Swinger 340 (also needing a restoration), and a 1979 Chrysler 300. We don't have any children and at this rate we won't have time for any..
